Toll New Zealand, through their Hillside workshop contract Valley Industries to manufacture a variety of components that that are used in the production of passenger wagons for their Auckland & Wellington passenger rail services.
The components produced include, stainless steel door surround, window sills, side rails, duct sleeves, side pillars, floor pans, dash assemblies, carriage coving, spark guards and a number of other parts and accessories.

Kiwi Tub
We manufacture the water heater for Kiwi Tub which can use firewood, gas, or other fuels. Heated water from the burner rises into the tub and is replaced by a backflow of cooler water from the tub. Thus a constant circulation of water between the tub and the water heater is created, without any need for electricity to pump it, so the tub water gets hotter. Click here for more information.
